It has been a busy time, Kelly has taken on new responsibilities at work and Brad has been coaching basketball but we are back on the blog. Here is a picture of Preston from Christmas morning. He had a great time opening the presents and playing with the paper.

Busy Times

Hello everyone! It has been a while since we have posted an update, we are still adjusting to both Kelly and Brad being at work. Preston has been rolling over, is finally put on some weight, and has made it through his first ear infection. He is learning how to eat from the spoon and will be starting baby food soon.He is growing fast! Here are some pictures of Preston enjoying his first football weekends. (sorry Saints fans, Preston loves the Redskins!)

Baby Bulldog

On Friday we took a family trip to Athens. We had a blast taking pictures with Preston! We think he really enjoyed it too (at least we hope he likes Athens as much as we do).

On the Road Again

Brad's project for the trip was to take a picture of Preston at all of the welcome signs for the different states we went to on our journey. While leaving Washington we passed a "Welcome to Maryland" sign on the interstate but since it was rush hour traffic we moved on. It is Brad's biggest regret from the trip.

more welcome signs

Preston's Summer Tour

We recently returned from a wonderful two week trip to see family and friends. We started our trip in North Carolina where we enjoyed the beach. We then made a short trip to Washington DC where Brad showed Preston the monuments and historic buildings. We went back to North Carolina, then drove to New Orleans, stopping for the night in Chattanooga. We went through 9 states and were on the road for over 50 hours. On the trip Preston got to spend time with many friends and relatives, it was a great time. When we returned home Kelly had to go back to work and Brad is now "Mr. Mom" until school starts again.
