On Friday we took a family trip to Athens. We had a blast taking pictures with Preston! We think he really enjoyed it too (at least we hope he likes Athens as much as we do).

On the Road Again
Brad's project for the trip was to take a picture of Preston at all of the welcome signs for the different states we went to on our journey. While leaving Washington we passed a "Welcome to Maryland" sign on the interstate but since it was rush hour traffic we moved on. It is Brad's biggest regret from the trip
.

Preston's Summer Tour
We recently returned from a wonderful two week trip to see family and friends. We started our trip in North Carolina where we enjoyed the beach. We then made a short trip to Washington DC where
Brad showed Preston the monuments and historic buildings. We went back to North Carolina, then drove to New Orleans, stopping for the night in Chattanooga. We went through 9 states and were on the road for over 50 hours. On the trip Preston got to spend time with many friends and relatives, it was a great time. When we returned home Kelly had to go back to work and Brad is now "Mr. Mom" until school starts again.

Seven Week Update
Preston is seven weeks old today! He is really changing everyday. He is starting to smile at us and of course we keep working to get him on a schedule. At his one month appointment Preston was 11 lbs 4 oz and he was 22 1/4 inches. His next appointment is June 30. Here are some photos of Preston in the bath, spending time with his cousin Audrey, and in his "Bumbo" seat. Enjoy!

Fun and Games
It has been a busy time around the Frilot House the last couple of weeks. Preston watched his first major sporting event on tv, the Kentucky Derby and of course wore his finest seersucker pants for the occasion. He has also been spending time with his cousin Jacob. Brad and Kelly have enjoyed Preston being more alert and able to interact with his parents more and more every day.

Family Time
We have been very fortunate to have spent a lot of time with our families recently. We have had overnight visits from Kelly's Mom, Brad's Mom, and Brad's grandmother. We also went to Aunt Linda's birthday party where Preston was able to spend time with his Great Grandparents, Uncle John, and many cousins including Jacob who is older than Preston by 19 days! Preston then had a visit from Uncle Trey, Aunt Holly, and cousins Chip and Audrey (9 days younger than Preston). We have enjoyed our family time and look forward to seeing those members of our family that Preston has yet to meet. See you soon!
